Cabernet Sauvignon is now the most widely grown grape in Washington. This beautifully crafted, expressive, multi-layered Cab is a great example why. Supple and seamless on entry, the ripe, fruit-forward red and black fruits on the palate are robust but so well-balanced with herb and cedar notes and just the right amount of acidity. Round, integrated tannins result in a soft, lingering finish. Top notch to enjoy alongside a grilled portobello burger, delicious!
Super Tuscans are blends made from international grape varietals like Cabernet, Merlot or Syrah usually combined with native Tuscan Sangiovese. You can taste winemaker Emiliano Falsini's extensive skills in every sip of this glorious plum and cherry-flavored Super Tuscan which marries cherry-rich Sangiovese with luscious Merlot. From a vintage with record fruit ripeness, it's pleasantly fresh and round with soft tannins and good persistence on the finish. Exceptional alongside a lasagna dinner, complete with garlic bread!
Shiraz is Australia's most widely planted and celebrated grape, and for good reason. South Eastern Australia is known around the world for producing full-bodied, full-flavored and gloriously complex Shiraz like this gem. Bursting with an intense, yet elegant flavor spectrum, the full-bodied palate is round, supple and expansive. Layers of red berry fruits, sweet tobacco, plum and vanilla lead to a long, soft and rich finish pair beautifully with Greek gyros, although you really can't go wrong with any meal pairing.
By tapping quality-focused growers around the state, the winemaker for Quail Hollow had an opportunity to assemble a truly remarkable Sauvignon Blanc cuvee. The finished wine is refreshing and complex, ideal for accompanying the lighter fare we gravitate toward during the warmer-weather months.
A quintessential Washington Riesling with enticing fruit flavors and a subtle mineral note. The wine is floral, fresh, incredibly balanced and pairs extremely well with Northwest cuisine such as fresh seafood, including Dungeness crab and oysters, or Asian fusion cuisine. When you want to enjoy a delicious alternative to Chardonnay, this is the wine to open and share with friends.
This clean, pretty, pale straw-colored Pinot Grigio shows delicate white flower aromas of fresh pear blossoms and passion fruit. It's rounded out by nectarine and tangerine and is nuanced with lemon custard tones, displaying a bright palate elevated by lively acidity with plenty of citrus and creamy minerality on the lengthy finish. Indulge with Shrimp Appetizers with Avocado & Cucumber or a soup and salad dinner.
