For the 2010 Gracenote Pinot Noir, winemaker Reed Renaudin selected grapes from two vineyards in the Carneros area of Sonoma County, and then aged the cuvee in a mix of French and Hungarian oak barrels. The wine is perfectly balanced, nicely concentrated, and both floral and fruitful. In a word, it's a wine that truly is inspired.
Bordeaux might be considered the "blending capital" of the wine world. The 2011 Pierre de Comty D'Argencour is a Merlot-based blend that includes equal, but much smaller, amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon (for structure) and Cabernet Franc (for aroma). The result is a charming, silky wine that provides plenty of pleasure from the first sniff to the final swallow.
Crafted from grapes grown on the island of Sicily — where the Mediterranean climate accommodates full ripening of the grapes and thus, full sugar development — the wine is fresh, sweet and the perfect companion for spicy fare. This wine is comprised of 100% Moscato and is delightfully sweet; offering impressions of nectarine, peach and apricot.
A perfect wine that could be served with both a savory main course and a sweet dessert; a real treat for your palate. This versatile wine showcases impressions of blackberry, dark cherry, smoke, tobacco and cocoa.

Of course, it's the full flavor spectrum of the wine that impressed the panel, and we think you'll be impressed, too.
